Together with the new Ford Focus EV, the Americans from Ford revealed a concept called Vertrek, a SUV prototype based on the same platform used for the new Focus. The new Ford Vertrek Concept adopts the Kinetic design phylosophy and is meant to show us how the next generation Kuga will probably look like.
The sleek American concept brings a revised front grille, sharp front optical blocks, huge rims and a carbon fiber lip in the front. Under the hood the Vertrek concept is fitted with a four-cylinder 1.6-liter Ecoboost engine together with the Start/Stop system.
An interesting glass roof is available together with a futuristic interior. In the rear we find smoked optical blocks alongside a two-pipe exhaust system. In conclusion, the new American concept looks great and this is some great news as we can foreshadow the design phylosophy that will be used by Ford for the future generation Kuga/Escape SUVs.
