The Americans from Ford released official fuel consumption figures for the new C-MAX Hybrid. From the beginning we find out that the new model is able to return better figures compared to one of its main rival, the Toyota Prius V.
According to Ford, the C-MAX Hybrid achieves a fuel economy of 47mpg (5l/100km) – city, and 44mpg (5,3l/100km) – highway, while offering more power (188hp) compared to the Japanese model (134hp).
If Ford already convinced you to get this hybrid model, you have to know that the starting price is rated at $25,995. The C-MAX Hybrid will arrive in the U.S. dealerships later this year.
“C-MAX Hybrid also offers class-exclusive technologies such as the available hands-free liftgate, optional active park assist and SmartGauge® with EcoGuide,” adds the car maker.
Ford continues the comparison with Prius V saying that their model offers enough space for five people, 99,7 cubic feet of passenger space, to be more precise.
Thanks to the 60/40 split system, there is also enough boot space for any situation.
