UK buyers are now able to order the Ford Tourneo Connect van as well as the Grand Tourneo Connect, its larger brother. The engine range consists of four units, namely a 1.6-liter diesel producing 94 horses and 113 horsepower but also a more powerful 1.6-liter EcoBoost.
This unit is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission and offers 148 horsepower.
These units are available for both five- and seven-seat models while the standard Tourneo Connect gets the 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol unit with 100 horses. Fuel economy figures are rated at 5,6 liters/100km or 50,4mpg UK with CO2 emissions of 129 g/km.
Standard features for the new model include an Active Grille Shutter for improved efficiency, a glass panoramic roof, new instrument cluster and a start/stop system.
The 2013 Ford Tourneo Connect gets a starting price of £14,245 in the UK with the bigger Grand Tourneo Connect beginning at £16,985.
