Ford decided to unveil the new Fiesta Van, a model based on the well-known hatchback which enters the British market and is scheduled to go on sale in January.
The new Ford Fiesta Van will be offered with a 1.5-liter TDCi unit producing 75 horsepower, a more powerful 1.6-liter with 95 horses and a 1.2-liter petrol engine offering 82 horses.
If you are interested in fuel consumption, the 1.6-liter diesel powerplant returns an economy of 3,3lt/100km with CO2 emissions of 87g/km. These impressive figures are available thanks to an auto start/stop system, low-rolling resistance tires and special underbody panels.
“The new Ford Fiesta Van, an agile and stylish car-derived van for large and small businesses, will deliver class-leading fuel efficiency and segment-first technologies when it launches in 2013,” adds Ford.
With a load capacity of 1 cubic meter, the new Fiesta Van comes also with several safety systems such as Active City Stop, Rear View Camera, MyKey system and more.
