It’s been only two days since Ford officially confirmed the debut of the sportier Fiesta ST at the Los Angeles Auto Show. Today, the American car maker releases new photos and details on the hatchback model but also a presentation video.
As previously reported, the new Ford Fiesta ST packs a 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine capable to produce 197 horsepower and 214 lb.-ft. of torque, being linked to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Besides the increased total output, the new model benefits from a revised chassis, a new braking system and a retuned suspension.
A new electronic stability control with three modes (standard, sport and off) will be also offered along an electronic Torque Vectoring Control system.
“Fiesta ST gives the performance and feel of an engine twice its size. There’s no waiting at all for the power to just push you back in your seat,” says Ford. You can also get a closer look at the new Ford Fiesta ST by watching the promo video below.
