Today we get the opportunity to see the upcoming Audi A3 sedan for the first time on the streets.
These are the first spy shots with the German model, a vehicle which is expected to be seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show this year. As far as we know, the new A3 uses a MQB platform and will be 4440mm long and 1840mm wide.
In terms of styling, we expect to see new front and rear bumpers, LED daytime running lights, large alloy wheels and a trunk spoiler.
The thick layer of camouflage tells us that the model is in its early stages of testing. Under the hood, the petrol range should include a base 1.2-liter unit producing 105hp, a more powerful 1.4-liter available in 122hp and 140hp variants but also a 1.8-liter TFSI with 180hp.
On the other hand, more frugal 2.0-liter TDI diesels with outputs ranging from 150hp to 184hp could be offered as well.
