Honda decided to reveal the 2012 model year Ridgeline, a pickup truck which receives few minor upgrades for the coming year. From the beginning we have to say that there are no improvements to the engine range as the Japanese model is powered by the same 3.5-liter V6 unit delivering 250 horsepower.
According to Honda, thanks to the aerodynamic improvements brought to the 2012 Ridgeline pickup truck, the model is able to obtain an improved highway fuel economy of 11 liters/100 km.
“The Ridgeline represents an exclusive and innovative approach in the half-ton pickup truck segment by prioritizing its construction and features based on the capabilities that many recreational truck buyers typically need and use,” says the company.
In terms of exterior tweaks, the 2012 Honda Ridgeline gets a new set of 18-inch alloy wheels in a black finish, revised fog lights and door handles but also a new, black honeycomb grille with black surround.
At the interior the customers will benefit from new floor mats, tinted rear windows and also a leather steering wheel. Pricing starts from $30,060 including the $810 destination fee while the top-of-the-range version is priced at $37,180.
