In our daily lives we are constantly bombarded by all kinds of ads and nice tempting thoughts about the xyz product, how useful it will be to us and how much we need it. And there are people who try their luck in something countless times because of these kinds of thoughts. Lotto is one of them. Now, two students from the Rhode Island School of Design wanted to raise a red flag in our opinion, by doing something which has never been done before…
What students Adam Eckstrom and Lauren Was did was create a Hummer H3 made of… lotto tickets. The two students picked up some $39,000 worth of lotto tickets and painstakingly put together the model. This is their biggest achievement yet, but they have done even smaller scale things, like palm trees.
Many messages could be received from their actions, but we think that the most important is that people shouldn’t tend to hope for something to come to them, like Lady Luck. Just imagine what someone could have done with $39,000 instead of buying lotto tickets over and over again. It wouldn’t compare with the jackpot, but it would still be cash in the pocket.
