Hyundai Creta STC Concept Unveiled at the 2016 Sao Paolo Motor Show

View

The current auto show being held in Sao Paolo, Brazil, is the host of a lot of models mostly destined for the South American market, with carmakers to present their latest concepts.

The South Korean based carmaker Hyundai is also present at the show with an interesting concept in the shape of the Creta STC, an interesting pickup tweaked with a lot of fresh styling bits.

For Sao Paolo, the new Creta STC Concept is actually the interpretation of the Creta crossover, coming with similar styling as the SUV. We are looking here at rather the same measures – 4.65 m long, with a wheelbase of around 2,80 m, which is more than the stock 2.59 meters.

As we can depict from the photos below, the Hyundai Creta STC Concept features new LED headlights, updated front end, wider front grille, while the cabin is tweaked with new ergonomic bed and speakers, power outlets and a host of storage compartments.

In the engine department, the concept might be using a 2.0-liter flat-four cylinder, but once the production model will come out, this might be dropped in favor of a new mill.

On the other hand, the Hyundai Creta is competing against the likes of the Opel Mokka, Chevrolet Trax, Ford EcoSport, Renault Captur, Nissan Juke or Peugeot 2008.
