There has been too much fuss about the upcoming and long-expected 2017 Hyundai i30 that everybody has been talking about. Now the await is over, as the South Korean carmaker has officially introduced the model ahead 2016 Paris Motor Show.

We are dealing here with a high-end compact hatch with an extremely appealing body styling and modern design lines, as well as some fresh engines under the hood.

The 2017 Hyundai i30 comes with the company`s new Cascading Grille, LED headlights, wider hexagonal shape with chrome accents, design line that links the lights on the side and a few more with those.

Also, the model stands on the new architecture, also implemented on other high-end models, meaning that is shed-off around 28 kg, and being more rigid. This would allow for a much spacer interior, with enough room for passengers and their luggage.

Another highlight is the engine choice it comes under the hood. The all-new i30 features a 1.4-liter turbocharged flat-four engine, with 318 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque, closely followed by a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated with 98 horsepower and 134 Nm of torque. Also, a smaller 1.0-liter turbocharged is also decided for the lineup with 118 horsepower and 170 Nm of torque.

On the diesels side, the 2017 i3 also features a 1.6-liter mill with three power configurations – 84 horsepower, 109 horsepower and 134 horsepower, respectively. All engines are hooked to a choice of six-speed manual and seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The pricing tags will be known after the car`s official unveiling in Paris.
