The Koreans from Hyundai decided to reveal the pricing for the new Veloster, a model which is set to arrive at the British dealerships early next year, in the month of February to be more precise. Unfortunately, Hyundai will offer the new Veloster with a single engine and two trim levels.
The Korean model will be powered by a 1.6-liter GDI petrol unit offering 140 horsepower mated to a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch transmission. Hyundai announced that the average fuel consumption is somewhere around 48mpg UK while the CO2 emissions at 137 g/km.
“The Hyundai Veloster is unique. Practical as well as sporty, styled with a sense of movement and balance. It’s individual and bold even down to the choice of colours. It’s the innovative 1+2 door configuration which gives the Veloster its two sides. So it’s an athletic coupe and a spacious hatchback in one – with easy access for driver and passengers,” says Hyundai.
The entry-level model benefits from the base trim level which includes LED daytime running lights, front and rear fog lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity and air conditioning. The Hyundai Veloster starts at £17,995 but the price climbs to £21,745 for the Sport trim level and the DCT transmission.
