Impressive Italdesign Aztec Concept Is Up for Grabs

Views

Remember the gorgeous Italdesign Aztec Concept that was a real delight to the eyes back in the late 1980s? Well, one piece is for sale on Mobile, with the owner asking a whopping 999,000 euros. I have to admit that is an impressive and genuine piece of technology ahead of its time, but I got to say the price is too much if you asked me!

Anyway, this particular model looks kinda pristine, being first registered in July 1992, four years after it was built, and having just 7,000 km on board!

By the way it looks, it came highly futuristic at the exterior as well as inside. Speaking of the interior, the Italdesign concept came with separated seats for the driver and passenger, both being able to communicate via AEG headphones.

The gadgetries were also something from a science-fiction movie, coming with JVC Hi-Fi system, the aforementioned AEG headphones for the driver and passenger, electrically-adjustable side mirrors, leather steering wheel or four-point belts.

In the engine department, the Italdesign Aztec Concept came with an Audi-sourced 2.2-liter five-cylinder engine with 200 horsepower. However, according to other sources, the Aztec actually came with 250 horsepower. The car also features a four-wheel drive system and a five-speed manual transmission.

It took the Aztec just 7.7 seconds to run the whole straight line from 0 to 100 km/h, at a top speed of 247 km/h. you can find out more details in the media gallery below!
