The new Jaguar XE already previewed last week at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, is now onto the spotlights again in a rendering, wearing a new body.
The rendering refers to the so called Jaguar XE Sportbrake, being signed by DesignRM and is nothing more than an imagery exercise, as the version in question is unlikely to ever see the day light.
As seen in the rendering, the Jaguar XE Sportback is coming in a wagon body style and closely resembling its four-door older brother.
To be a reminder, the Jaguar XE revealed in Paris last week, will be coming in a single body style, aimed to compete with its direct rivals, like the BMW 3-Series, the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, or the Audi A4.
The Jaguar XE will come with a 2.0-liter Ingenium turbo diesel, developing 163 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque, a petrol 2.0-liter turbocharged with 200 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque.
The top 3.0-liter V6 unit is coming with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, making the sports car sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, at a top speed of 250 km/h.
