Toyota is following Subaru on local market and decided to strike back by releasing two limited edition models for the 86 – the 86 GT Limited High Performance Package and 68 GT Solar Orange Limited – both available with prices as well.
The Toyota 86 GT Limited High Performance Package is available at 3,394,440 yen ($31,510) for the six-speed manual gearbox and 3,461,400 yen ($32,135), for the six-speed automatic transmission.
On the other hand, the Toyota 86 Solar Orange Limited Edition costs 3,251,880 yen ($30,190) for the six-speed manual and 3,318,840 yen ($30,810) of the automatic. Each package comes with its own features.
The 86 GT Limited High Performance Package comes with a lot of interesting features and mechanics, such as 17-inch alloy wheels, Sachs performance dampers or Brembo brakes.
On the other hand, the 86 Solar Orange Limited Edition comes with an orange body wrap, Alcantara upholstery, orange stitching, Grand Luxe fabric dashboard trim or heated seats. This particular model can also be had with the High Performance Package, which adds front underbody cover or rear wing.
Both the HT High Performance and the Solar Orange will be launched on the Japanese market starting the 10th of March, with prices to be released at the end of January.
