Jeep announced the UK pricing for the high-performance version of the Grand Cherokee. We talk about the SRT8 model which uses a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 unit delivering 465 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is possible in 4,8 seconds while the top speed reaches 257 km/h.
These are some impressive figures for such a heavy model but of course, all comes for a price. The American company set a starting price of £58,995 for the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 in the UK while also providing a more affordable Overland version priced at £44,795.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland gets a less powerful 3.0-liter diesel unit along few distinctive features such as a new Rugged Brown finish along with 20-inch polished wheels and chromed grille. Inside, the customers get heated Nappa and leather seats, special stitching, a two-color interior trim and special floor mats.
The standard Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 features adaptive damping suspension, adaptive cruise control, rain brake support, Quadra-Trac AWD system and also active head restraints.
