Jeep officially unveiled a new special edition for the current Wrangler SUV. We talk about the new Wrangler Freedom Edition designed to celebrate the American military, a model which will be produced in a limited series.
Under the bonnet we find a 3.6-liter V6 engine able to deliver 285 horsepower and 352 Nm of torque.
The fuel consumption of the model is rated at 21mpg US (25,2mpg UK) while the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is possible in 8,4 seconds.
“More than 70 years ago, the U.S. government informed automakers that it was looking for a “light reconnaissance vehicle” for military use,” says Jeep.
At the exterior, the Wrangler Freedom Edition comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, new Mineral Gray trim, Oscar Mike badges and a Mopar fuel door. At the interior you will find few tweaks such as Mopar mats, Quick Silver trim and embroidered seats.
