Jeep decided to reveal the 2014 Cherokee, a model which will be seen in world premiere at the upcoming New York Auto Show.
Under the bonnet we will find a 2.4-liter TigerShark engine and a more powerful 3.2-liter V6 powerplant. On the other hand, diesel choices could include a 2.0-liter entry-level unit and a more potent 3.0-liter engine, both designed for the European market.
In terms of styling, the American model receives a completely redesigned front end with new optical blocks, front grille and bumper.
The exterior changes are quite dramatic, many people already saying that Jeep’s new model is not the best-looking car in the world.
Even so, customers interested in the 2014 Jeep Cherokee will be able to order it starting this fall. Pricing information will be released in the coming months, production following to begin soon at the Toledo plant in Ohio.
