As we were announcing few weeks ago, Kia prepared the debut of the new Forte sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The Korean company offers a base 1.8-liter engine offering 148 horsepower and 131 lb.-ft. of torque.
This engine is linked to a six-speed manual transmission while an automatic gearbox is also available. There is also a 2.0-liter GDI unit with 173 horses and 154 lb.-ft. of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Standard features of the 2014 Kia Forte include 16-inch alloy wheels, satellite navigation system and LED lights.
A McPherson strut front suspension alongside a new electric power steering is also features of the new Forte. The Korean model is longer and wider compared to the outgoing model with a total length of 106.3 inches.
