Kia`s latest GT model has received a lot of attention for the last couple of months, the model being revealed in two teaser videos which highlighted the impressive acceleration and performance on straight line. Now, the car`s attention was aimed at its sleek design.
The Kia GT is looking exquisite and quite appealing in the new teaser video, the model warming up just before its official unveiling at the 2017 NAIAS, in Detroit, this month.
According to the carmaker, the model is going to be highly aggressive, depicting an evolutionary design, thanks to the new LED daytime running lights, quad tailpipes, hood vents, and other styling bits that reveal the sleek design.
But the best attributes to describe the GT`s arriving design are expressed by the carmaker itself:
“The curve, and the sense of curiosity, is also brought to life in the concave, fastback silhouette of Kia`s long-awaited all-new car. Inspired by a concept, Kia`s newest vehicle marries heart-pounding performance with purposeful and progressive design.”
Speaking about performance, the all-new Kia GT is going to be quite impressive, meaning that it will come with the same potent engine also found on the new Genesis G80. We are looking here at a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6, developing more than 365 horsepower, paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Recently, Kia release a teaser video with their latest 2018 GT, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.1 seconds, at a topping of 280 km/h, being called the “fastest-accelerating Kia to date”. The video didn’t reveal the car in its actual state, but it did show a black and white image with the its speedometer stopping at 280 km/h.
