Kia unveils a new special edition based on the Soul crossover, a model designed exclusively for the British market. We talk about the Kia Soul Shaker, a model which is already on sale at a starting price of £15,295 OTR.
Of course, there won’t be any performance improvements, Kia offering two engines under the hood. We talk about a 1.6-liter CRD unit producing 126hp and 260Nm of torque while a more potent 1.6-liter GDI engine with 138hp being offered as well.
The range-topping powerplant does the 0-100 km/h sprint in around 10 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/h.
“The Soul ‘Shaker’ sits in the Soul line-up above the ‘2′ specification version and shares some high-tech features with other models in the Soul Originals range,” says the Korean company.
Styling improvements of the Shaker model include 18-inch alloy wheels, a special Vanilla Shake finish and an optional Quartz Black metallic paint. At the interior, you will find air conditioning, Bluetooth connectivity, a sunroof and cloth seats.
