The Kia car manufacturer is planning and executing their new project: the build of an US plant.
Even with the recession, Kia is not willing to give up on their strategy so everything will go according to their plans. The actual construction will take place in the next months, at the beginning of 2009. The people from Kia are sure that the US plant will not only be finished, but up and running by the end of 2009, in only one year. At the moment, the costs are estimated to $1,2 billion and the production will probably reach 300,000/year.
The appearance of the Kia US plant will also bring a lot of new job places for anyone who is qualified.
