It seems that the Italians from Lamborghini are planning to debut the roadster version of the Aventador LP700-4 at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, an event which opens its gates later next month.
To be more precise, a member of the Teamspeed forums received an invitation for a special event which will be held on November 12 in Miami.
Therefore, the new Italian model, which is Lamborghini’s “most powerful Roadster ever” as they claim, should be revealed next week prior the Los Angeles debut.
The new Aventador LP700-4 Roadster is powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 power plant capable to deliver 691 horsepower. Moreover, Lamborghini says that the open-top Aventador comes with an ultra-rigid carbon fiber monocoque and a retractable hardtop.
It remains to be seen if these rumors are true or not but, of course, we hope to see the new Aventador Roadster as soon as possible.
