Lamborghini released pricing details on the Aventador Superveloce (SV) Roadster, a car that will be sold in a limited run of 500 units. The Italia supercar starts from €357,000 and comes with a huge 6.5-liter V12 engine tuned to produce 750 horsepower.
Thanks to a weight reduction, the 0-100 km/h is now possible in 2,9 seconds with a top speed of over 350 km/h. The new model weighs now just 1,575 kilograms, mainly thanks to the usage of lightweight materials such as carbon fiber.
Even the roof is a two-piece carbon fiber hardtop which will be stored in the trunk when you decide to go open-top. The new Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster will go on sale next year.
If you want to get it in the States, the official pricing starts at $530,075, more than half a million therefore. It is up to you if the Superveloce variant is really worth the extra penny. The slightly more powerful engine is the main benefit of this version.
It is true that, at this high level of performance, every kilogram lost and even bit of power is crucial for getting faster and faster.
