Lamborghini fits the new Aventador with Carbon Fiber Monocoque

Here are some new details on the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, new official details revealed recently by the Italians from Sant’Agata Bolognese. They claim that the new carbon fiber monocoque is able to provide a torsional rigidity of 35,000 Nm while the mass of the new structure is 147 kilograms.

Lamborghini Aventador is the model chosed by the Italians to replace the current Murcielago and it will make the first contact with the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March. Moreover, there are some details regarding the suspension which seems to be insipired from the F1 cars.

Under the bonnet a V12 engine is most likely to be packed, a unit able to develop 700 horsepower. The interior of the new Aventador is made of lightweight carbon fiber reinforced plastic which offers multiple advantages.
