The Italians from Lamborghini recently revealed a limited edition of Gallardo at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Called LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale, the supercar is scheduled to be produced in a limited edition of only 150 units. Under the bonnet, the Italian model sports a V10 engine borrowed from the Superleggera, a unit able to develop 570 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque.
A six-speed transmission with gear shift paddles transmits the power to the rear wheels. With a total mass of 1,340 kilograms, the new LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3,4 seconds and reach a top speed of 320 km/h.
Besides the tremendous amount of power, the limited edition comes with few noteworthy aesthetic improvements over the standard model. To be more precise, the Italian designers fitted the model with new 19-inch alloy wheels, new rear wing and front spoiler but also a matte black finish.
In the rear, we see an air diffuser, carbon fiber covers for the side mirrors and also red brake calipers. Other features include a four-point safety belt, satellite navigation, anti-theft system, carbon-fiber ceramic brake system and a roll cage.
