The rumored Lamborghini Jota changed its name to Aventador as the Italian manufacturer registered this name in the U.S. We talked several times about the Lamborghini Jota, especially when the concept bearing the same name was revealed few weeks ago at the Paris Auto Show.
The future Lamborghini supercar, Aventador, is expected to hide under the hood the 700-horsepower 6.5-liter V12 engine. Is also rumored that Lamborghini Aventador will debut somewhere in 2014 and we expect a concept model to be revealed soon. The model will benefit from several carbon fiber parts in order to achieve a lower mass.
Changing the name from Jota to Aventador is confirmed by the trademark filed by the Italians. I think it’s well known that the Lamborghini Aventador is the successor of the current Lamborghini Murcielago, thus, the new Italian supercar has to raise the standards that the Lamborghini Murcielago set. More details on the Lamborghini Aventador are still unkown for know.
