I know it would be nice every now and then to have a new aspirational car maker show us what they can really do but this isn’t that.

The Hamann Victory II is actually a transformation package for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. A tuning package, a very interesting tuning package but a tuning package nevertheless.

The Germans and the Italians didn’t really have many big achievements together, but they did create the Lamborghini Murcielago so maybe there’s hope for the Gallardo yet.

The Germans at Hamman perhaps reckoned there’s too much of a Italia look in the Gallardo so they decided it to make it more to their taste. And they did, and they’ve spoiled it.

Honestly, I think the Hamann Victory II is actually something created by one of the workers sons while playing Need for Speed. It is that sad looking a thing.

Happily the engineers have dispensed more effort so the Hamann Victory II Lamborghini Gallardo now has 20 more horsepower bringing the grand total to 580.

Despite the weird body adds, the German tuned Lamborghini Gallardo can now achieve 204 mph provided you have the right tires on it. In this case, the right tires measure 235/30ZR20 at the front and 325/25ZR20 for the back.

There’s a few more things to say about this but honestly, if I look or hear about the Hamann Victory II once more all I’ll hear is the tortured Lamborghini Gallardo.
