Leaked Image Indicates Future 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup Truck

Ram pickups built under Dodge are the most appreciated in the entire world, the entire lineup being extremely well-received in the United States and not only.

At the beginning of the week, there were some pictures leaked with the all-new Grand Wagner and future Wrangler, the photos being published on Allpar.com. In addition to those two new prototypes, there was also a leaked photo with what seems to be the future 2018 Ram 1500 pickup.

The leaked image is shown above and might indicate indeed the future model. If this is confirmed, then we will be certainly dealing with one of the most standout pickup trucks in history, the model being highlighted with a new and more aerodynamic design, with C-shaped LEDs and standing on a completely new platform.

One it will arrive, the 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup will feature lightweight materials, which will make it lighter than the current model. Also, the dual-cab version will come with a larger cab and fold-flat seats for the second row.

As for the engine lineup under the hood, the all-new 2018 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck will be equipped with upgraded mills in the shape of a 3.6-liter Pentastar 6 engine or a 5.7-liter V8. Later on, a 3.0-liter “EcoDiesel”, with low CO2 emissions and fuel-consumption will be added to the lineup.

The company is also preparing an Australian-based model with a right-hand drive, the new model coming with the same Cummings 6.7-liter straight six-cylinder diesel and a much lower price than the current one, which now costs $139,500.
