Lotus City Car electric concept gets introduced

The British people from Lotus revealed today an electric concept that comes with a futuristic design phylosophy and great performance considering the environmental purposes. The electric engine is able to provide 73 horsepower and an autonomy of 60 kilometers but also the City Car concept comes with a petrol engine that rises the power amount to 220 horses and 240 Nm of torque.

Due to the low mass of 1,400 kilograms, the British concept powered both by the electric and petrol engine is able to provide low CO2 emissions of just 60 g/km but also a total autonomy of 560 kilometers. The petrol engine is a flex-fuel one able to run on methanol or ethanol.

The British manufacturer focused also on the interior by mounting a glass roof, using leather and carbon fiber trim. To not forget, the British concept is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9 seconds and the battery it’s placed under the floor in order to achieve the best space results inside.
