Mercedes-Benz revealed the new CLS model within the Paris Auto Show. Together with the unveiling event, the Germans at Mercedes revealed new information on the new supercar. Thus, the 2012 Mercedes CLS is scheduled to enter the European market in January 2011 and it comes with two versions, the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY able to deliver 262 horsepower and the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY boosting the horsepower amount to 302.
In design terms the new Mercedes CLS was inspired by the Shooting Brake concept and comes with wood trim and leather upholstery for the interior while optional LED lights are available.
The German people at Mercedes revealed also the engine options that will enter the new model range. We talk about CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY and CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY, the first one being to deliver 201 horsepower while the last one will offer a great amount of power, more exactly over 400HP. As we said above, the new CLS will enter the market in January while the starting price is about €60,000.
