It seems that the Japanese people from Mazda will quit offering the CX-7 crossover in the United States, the poor sales being the main reason for this decision.
With the introduction of the new CX-5 in the States, the older CX-7 is one step closer to its retiring from this market. At the beginning, the dealers claimed that this decision won’t be very efficient even the poor sales of about 2,600 units every month were confirming it.
However, the new Mazda CX-5 proved to be good enough to fill the absence of the CX-7, a model which will quit the market this year after Mazda will sell the remaining 6,000 vehicles in stock.
“The new Mazda CX-7 was positioned between where the CX-5 is now and where the CX-9 is, and the only other person in that range was really the Nissan Murano,” commented Robert Davis from Mazda.
Therefore, you will have to hurry if you want to get one of the latest units in stock as Mazda officially announced that there are no other deliveries scheduled.
