The hotter version from the McLaren P1, which is the racer GTR, has already reached the production line, with 42 orders already to be registered by the carmaker.
There were no official announcements to indicate the orders, but a recent report issued by Autovisie, the carmaker is already working on the McLaren P1 GTR. This comes after the company has finished the delivery of all 375 units of the McLaren P1.
But after a good news always follows a bad one, as despite heading towards the production line, the McLaren P1 GTR will be manufactured in only 45 vehicles, out of which 42 are already ordered. Additionally, you would have to pay the whopping amount of 2 million GBP to have it, so for the rest of us poor fellows, it would be a waste of time just to dream of it.
For the aforementioned price, you would indeed get a unique supercar, both from an aesthetically point of view as well from a performance perspective. We are talking after all, about a body fully wrapped with carbon fiber components, titanium and Inconel exhaust pipes, as well as an impressive 1,000 horsepower under the hood, achieved from an upgraded 3.8-liter twin turbo V8.
