Officially unveiled back in December 2016, the all-new 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe has been since long-previewed, discussed and seen in gorgeous pictures and videos.
Now, the German based carmaker has recently announced that the first bookings are now opened, with the first orders to be honored this spring. The model is built at the company`s main facility in Bremen, Germany, along with other high-end models like the C-Class Coupe and Cabriolet.
Speaking of the car`s production, Markus Schafer, Member of the Divisional Board of Mercedes-Benz Cars, has recently stated that the E-Class Coupe is “part of the ongoing rejuvenation” of the company`s model range.
“During the start-up phase, we were able to benefit from the excellent collaboration between the plants in Sindelfinger and Bremen,” Schafer also concluded.
Built upon the same platform as the fresh E-Class Sedan, the new E-Class Coupe shares its evolutionary design and plethora of technologies inside. The car`s latest design refers to a lower grille and central star, along with longer bonnet and power dome which increase the car`s sporty look.
Other features that shapes out the E-Class Coupe`s personality are highlighted by the LED MULTIBEAM headlamps, flat LED taillamps and so on.
Inside, the cabin is tweaked with premium materials and leather upholstery and offered with the latest gadgetry in terms of technology. The suite comprises a full-digital display, full smartphone integration, semi-automated driving, driver assist systems and much more.
The engine lineup consists of petrol burners and diesels, amongst which proudly sits the AMG`s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 mill.
