Ferrari pulled the wraps off the new 458 Speciale, a sportier variant of the well-known 458 Italia model.
Power is provided by a 4.5-liter V8 powerplant capable to produce 605 horsepower and 540Nm of torque. With such power, the 0-100 km/h sprint is possible in just 3 seconds while hitting 200 km/h from standstill takes 9,1 seconds.
These figures are available also thanks to the low total mass of just 1,290 kilograms. The new 605-horsepower V8 unit is the Ferrari’s most powerful naturally-aspirated V8 engine.
At the exterior, the new Ferrari 458 Speciale features new aerodynamic flaps capable to reduce the drag but also improve downforce. Torque management is improved thanks to the Side Slip Angle Control system which is capable to adjust the torque distribution in certain situations.
