Mercedes announced official details on the introduction of new engines for select models in the range. We start up with the Mercedes A-Class which gets a 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit producing 184 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.
It will be called the A 220 4MATIC and will be linked to a seven-speed DCT transmission for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 7,4 seconds. The sportier Mercedes CLA will benefit from a 136hp 2.2-liter unit linked to a six-speed transmission.

The Mercedes CLA 200 CDI will be offered with a seven-speed automatic gearbox and a 4MATIC system as well.
The Mercedes CLA 220 CDI gets the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system while the GLA range benefits from a smaller 1.4-liter unit delivering 109hp and 260 Nm of torque.

It will equip the Mercedes GLA 180 CDI and will provide a 0-100 km/h sprint of 11,9 seconds with a top speed of 190 km/h. More info including pricing should be released soon.
