View

Mercedes decided to unveil a special edition of the A45, called PETRONAS 2015 World Champion Edition. It is meant to celebrate the victory of the F1 team in the championship.

What sets this model apart from the standard Mercedes-AMG A45 is the exterior look. The German company opted for a silver finish with petrol green and black inserts. New multi-spoke 19-inch titanium wheels with green inserts are also available alongside tweaked front splitter, roof spoiler and side skirts.

Under the hood we find a stock 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 381 horses and 475 Nm of torque, enough for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,2 seconds. The engine is also helped by a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox as well as the 4MATIC all-wheel drive system.

Interior upgrades include leather upholstery, green accents on the seats and dashboard as well as a Performance steering wheel. The Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS 2015 World Champion Edition is expected to be seen this weekend in Yas Marina, at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

If you want to get your hands on one of these models, you have to know that it starts from €65,402 in Germany. Mercedes says that the special model will go on sale in May next year.
