Mercedes-AMG GT C Coupe Edition 50 Gets Photo Session

View

Just like the newly unveiled AMG GT and AMG GT R, the AMG GT C Coupe Edition 50 will be the German carmaker`s one of the hottest models within its AMG lineup, and the real proof is the real photo session that it recently got, while wearing no camouflage whatsoever.

And the fact that the model will be so rare is the Edition 50 badging, which announces…you guesses it ….just a limited run of 50 units, which will arrive next year as a celebration of 50 years of AMG activity on the market.

About two months ago, Mercedes-AMG released the all-new GT C Roadster and getting a closer look at the Coupe, we could see the striking similarity, except for the hard-top, of course. However, the model will come with its own personality, reflected by the matte black exterior kit and the dark and wide alloy wheels.

Inside, the interior of the future Mercedes-AMG GT C Coupe Edition 50 will come with improved characteristics, which will differentiate it from the standard GT C Coupe.

On the mechanics department, the Mercedes-AMG GT C Coupe will also look updated, meaning that it will receive the AMG`s Ride Control suspension system with wider rear track, electronic differential lock, rear-wheel steering, active aero shutters for the “Panamericana” front grille, switchable exhaust system which increases the car`s engine soundtrack, and a few more.

In the engine department, the AMG GT Coupe Edition 50 will come with the standard 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, churning out 550 horsepower and 680 Nm of torque, which is enough to deliver a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
