Mercedes-AMG GT R Gets Shot Down in Berlin

View

Even if it will take some time until we will see it cruising the streets, the Beast of Green Hell, as they like to call it – the new Mercedes-AMG GT R – has been recently seen on Berlin streets, the model flexing its muscles for a photo session.

We already know that we are looking at the fastest Mercedes-AMG ever built, and one of the most potent sports cars in its class, coming with an extremely aggressive design and advanced aerodynamics, adding sheer performance under the hood.

The model seen here is wrapped in the AMG`s Green Hell Magno, the model being caught on shots by LuxurySpottings user from Autogespot, looking gorgeous and ready for some street action.

As we can depict from the pictures, the Mercedes-AMG GT R looks extremely ferocious with the new vertical slatted grille, more prominent air intakes, wide rear wing, double rear diffuser as well as the 20-inch ten-spoke black wheels, which perfectly complement the entire aero kit.

As for the car`s impressive powertrain, we are looking here at 4.0-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, churning out 577 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. This provides an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in a staggering 3.6 seconds, at a top speed of 318 km/h. This makes it 0.2 seconds faster than the regular Mercedes-AMG GT S.

The impressive sprint is also achieved thanks to the car`s new carbon fiber composites which make it more lightweight with around 90 kg, meaning an overall of only 1,554 kg. Enjoy the spy photos with the model in Berlin!
