Theophilus Chin has recently created a strange yet appealing new body style, in the shape of a Roadster, for the one-off Mercedes-AMG GT sports car, which is the main replacer of the high-end SLS AMG.
I love it, I might add, even if I am not much of the AMG fan. I have to admit that Theophilus Chin has done a great job, especially since a Roadster version of the Mercedes-AMG GT would soon appear on the market. If I am not mistaken, the model should appear somewhere next year.
Perhaps the Mercedes-Benz German based carmaker would get its inspiration from these two renderings and come up with a more exotic AMG GT version, in the shape of the Roadster, which might complete the AMG lineup.
However, these renderings are also based on some rumors, according to which the Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster might come with the same 4.0-liter biturbo V8 unit, also found on the future AMG GT, the car outputting 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. This might be a significant increase as opposed to the GT`s 462 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. So far, no recent news on the model.
