Mercedes AMG S65 Cabriolet Unveiled

Mercedes-Benz continues the expansion of the S-Class lineup by launching the top of the line S65 AMG Cabriolet, the model coming with an exquisite design and improved performance under the hood. The S65 Cabriolet will hit dealerships in May, next year.

In terms of visuals, the Mercedes AMG S65 Cabriolet is standing out from the crowd with the “twin blade” radiator grille, trim strip found on the “A-wing”, AMG sports exhaust system with the two chromed tailpipes or the “V12 BITURBO” badge on the wings.

Another distinguishable styling cue is the three-layered acoustic fabric soft top, coming in black, dark blue, beige and dark red. It takes just 17 seconds to open or close at speeds above 50 km/h.

Inside, the cabin of the Mercedes AMG S65 Cabriolet is extremely luxurious with the Exclusive Nappa leather on the steering wheel, DINAMICA microfiber-finished soft top lining, heated armrests, heated rear seats, intelligent climate control, AMG instrument cluster, touchpad for the navigation system, telephone and a whole lot more.

The model can also be had with the Keyless-Go, Seat Comfort and he Driving Assistance Package Plus, the latter coming with Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Bas Plus with Cross-Traffic Assist, Distronic Plus with Steering Assist and so on.

In the engine department, the Mercedes AMG S65 Cabriolet packs a massive 6.0-liter bi-turbo V12 engine, with 630 horsepower and whopping 1,000 Nm of torque, with the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h to be done in just 4.1 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h. The engine is sent to the rear wheels via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC transmission.
