The 2015 Goodwood Festival is soon approaching and some of the toughest carmakers on the market have already announced some goodies to be presented, before being auctioned for top dollars.
It is also the case of the world`s third largest carmaker Mercedes-Benz, heading to Goodwood with its latest creation, the Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, which is actually the stretched wheelbase of the more popular Mercedes-Benz CLK in its first generation (1996-2003), a mixture between a Batmobil and a Dark Vader one. Surely, the car received an aggressive body kit, as well as a lot of sport features, like the wide rear wing or the revised front and rear bumpers!
I have to admit that I am pretty impressed by the bold design approach, but from a personal perspective, I wouldn’t pay somewhere around $2.2 million and $2.8 million to have it stored in my garage. But in case you are interested in this odd model, than you should head to the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed and attend the auction held by the Bohmans Auction House.
