Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss Is Up for Grabs at Whopping Price

View

It`s not everyday we get to see a rare Mercedes-Benz model being available for sale at a whopping price, but the 2010 SLR by Stirling Moss displayed below is the perfect example of such an expensive model, even more expensive than a Bugati Chiron.

We are looking here a staggering $2.8 million that the owner is asking for this pristine looking Merc, the model coming with a lot of exquisite features and the latest mechanics.

With just 4,800 km onboard and a design warranty, this lad here is one of the 75 examples to be looking for a new owner, and I bet that there are plenty of rich customers willing to get their hands on such an impressive ride.

Produced between 2009 and 2010 by Sterling Moss, this model comes with a carbon fiber body, “swing-wing doors”, two tonneau covers and a one-off windshield which makes the model extremely aggressive and appealing.

Besides the gorgeous look that gives away the aggressiveness of its character, the Mercedes SLR Stirling Moss also comes with an impressive powertrain under the hood. We are looking here at a massive 5.0-loter V8 engine, churning out 650 horsepower, being sent to the rear axle via a five-speed automatic transmission, the same one used on the SLR 722.

The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in a staggering 3.5 seconds, at a top speed of 350 km/h. So, if you are hot shot with plenty of money in your bank account and love rare Mercs like this one, then you are definitely going to love this lad here sitting in your garage alongside other fine models.
