The 2009 F1 champion, Jenson Button, received from Mercedes-Benz a DR520 Estate model, one of the twenty units of the special edition manufactured for the Mercedes C-Klasse. Germans at Mercedes decided to give a unit of the special version of C-Klasse to the former F1 champion.
With an electronical limited top speed of 300 km/h and being capable to accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds thanks to the 6.3-liter V8 modified engine of 520 hp and 650Nm, the Estate model is able to provide performance worthy of a supercar. To obtain better performance, forged pistons were mounted by the German manufacturer along with a revised crankshaft.
Fast cars need good brakes, so, the Germans at Mercedes mounted an AMG braking system. The special edition Mercedes C-Klasse DR520 Estate got an outstanding exterior design with a matte black paint finish along with the grey alloy wheels and red brake calipers. At the interior, leather sport seats are available and titanium trims.
