Mercedes finally pulled the wraps off the AMG version of the new CLS Shooting Brake, a model revealed to the public few weeks ago.
The new CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake gets all the range-topping features of the company starting with a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo unit capable to develop 518 horsepower and 700Nm of torque, enough resources for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,4 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
Moreover, opting for the Performance Package you will get a total output of 550hp and 800Nm of torque, extra power able to improve the performance figures by about 0,1 seconds.
The powerful V8 powerplant is linked to an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT seven-speed transmission which features four modes: Controlled Efficiency, Manual, Sport and Sport Plus.
In terms of fuel consumption, the German model returns a combined fuel economy of 10,1 liters/100km with CO2 emissions of 235 g/km.
At the exterior, the Mercedes CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake sports 19-inch alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights, new front and rear bumpers and quad-pipe exhaust system.
Pricing details are not available yet but we’ve been told that the model will arrive in the dealerships in October this year.
