Mercedes released new details on the GLA Edition 1, a model which is currently available for pre-order and is slated to reach customers starting March.
The German model benefits from 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, special Cirrus White, Orient Brown Metallic, Mountain Grey and Designo Mountain Grey finishes. Being based on the Urban trim level, it also benefits from bi-xenon headlights and chrome roof rails.
Inside, buyers will get a flat-bottom steering wheel, black roof liner, new floor mats, leather seats and stainless steel pedals.
“Our exclusive Edition 1 is a particularly alluring proposition to boost the market launch,” says Mercedes.
Illuminated door sill plates, ambient lighting and automatic wipers can be ordered as part of the Light and Sight pack. Power for the new Mercedes GLA Edition 1 is provided by a 1.6-liter engine producing 156 horsepower, a 2.0-liter unit with 211 horses and a 2.2-liter diesel in two configurations: 136hp and 170hp.
