The 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG will arrive in the US dealerships in March with a starting price of $95,865 (including the $875 destination fee). Under the bonnet sits a 5.5-liter V8 biturbo unit from AMG which delivers 518 horses and 699 Nm of torque.
With such power under the hood, the German SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4,6 seconds and achieves a top speed of 250 km/h.
Mercedes also offers the AMG Performance Package which increases the total output to 550 hp and 758 Nm of torque for an acceleration improved by 0,1 seconds and a top speed of 280 km/h.
“The new ML63 AMG showcases exceptional new technology. The AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine features spray-guided direct injection with piezo injectors, ECO stop/start system, an all-aluminium crankcase, four valves per cylinder with camshaft adjustment,” says Mercedes.
Inside, the customers will benefit from 10-way power front seats, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, heated and ventilated seats, AMG illuminated door sills and also a satellite navigation system.
The AMG Performance Package brings a carbon fiber engine over, red brake calipers and an AMG Performance steering wheel in addition.
