Mercedes released pricing on the SL-Class Roadster in the United Kingdom, the German model being priced from £72,495 for the SL 350.
It is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine able to deliver 302 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5,9 seconds.
The top speed is limited at 250 km/h while the fuel economy is rated at 37,7mpg UK and CO2 emissions of 176 g/km.
Next up is the Mercedes SL 500 which benefits from a more powerful 5.0-liter V8 offering 429 horsepower and 700Nm of torque which enables the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4,6 seconds.
“The SL not only looks sensational, with dramatic design features including a new-look front grille full of power and purpose. It’s also the first ever production series car to be constructed with a 100% aluminium bodyshell,” claims the German car maker.
The range-topping version of the new SL-Class Roadster benefits from several features such as leather sport seats, Adaptive Brake and bi-Xenon lights. The starting price set by Mercedes for this version is £83,445.
