At this year’s edition of the Paris Motor Show, the Germans at Mercedes unveiled an all-electric variant of the Mercedes SLS AMG supercar.
From the beginning we are told that the SLS AMG Electric Drive is a production version, which means that it can be ordered, but also we know that it comes with no less than 740 horsepower.
This immense power combined with a torque of 1,000 Nm is provided by four electric motors.
Mercedes had to limit the top speed at 250 km/h while the 0-100 km/h acceleration is possible in just 3,9 seconds.
“Our new electric SLS symbolizes the dynamism of the Mercedes-Benz brand in a particularly impressive fashion,” says the German car maker.
However, all this comes with a price as the new eco-friendly SLS AMG Electric Drive is priced at €416,500 which is way more than the range-topping gasoline-powered model.
