A while back, we mentioned that some bike makers are planning to build a machine that sports a 32 inch front wheel.
It seems that the Corleone (as they dubbed it) is finally here, and I have to admit, it looks better than I expected.
That being said, it still is insane, and not in a good way. Just because they managed to work a fairly pleasant design around the massive front wheel, it doesn’t mean they built an awesome bike. Ever since Metalsport announced the project, it looked like an ego trip, and now that it is complete, I have to say I was right.
The Corleone, despite the fine craftsmanship is just a bike that craves attention for the sake of attention. This all started last year, when another company came up with a world-first 30 inch bike wheels. It didn’t take long for the 32 inch to show its face, so the question arises: how much larger will the wheels get before the madness ends?
