As it turns out, even though manufacturers are spinning millions they can’t always turn up to a very important motor show such as the one in Geneva with something completely new and interesting.
Mini tend to have quite the interesting raft of cars and concept but this year they’re going to be turning up in a special edition of the Mini Clubman, one called the Hampton Edition.
So what exactly is going to be the Mini Clubman Hampton edition all about since I’m already knocking it off?
Well, because the only thing new about the Mini Clubman Hampton is a set of 17 inch twin-spoke alloy wheels.
I’m serious, those are the only things actually new (apart from Bi-Xenon headlights) about the Mini Clubman that’s to be revealed at the Geneva Motor Show.
The rest of the stuff that’s going to make the Hampton edition special is all about colors. Be it on the interior leather, floor mats and all of the complementary stitching that come along with it.
While some rumors have been trickling in on what’s going to be happening with the suspension, pretty much all you’re gonna get with this is a limited edition Mini estate.
At this point, what the British have to understand is that no matter what Mini badge you put on your car or whatever sort of special edition you trick it up with it’s going to still be an uncool estate.
